I'm not turning my nose up at achievements if you realized what I was trying to express. If the fact that a game doesn't have some sort of external achievement system is what keeps you from playing it, that's completely retarded. And this is exactly what it sounded like you were saying here: "When i play a game on the PC, i feel like i have no goal other then to just beat the game, and get it out of the way."  If that's not what you meant, then ignore my mini rant. Pretty awesome idea, but I'm already able to play GoW on a PS2 emulator with 2x that resolution. And I don't have a PS3. But still, awesome for those who do, the games really do look great just with a resolution upgrade. They definitely look  closer to what you see on the PS3 then the PS2.

Looks exactly the same as GoW 2, Was never a fan of the combat in these games. When the first weapon you get instarapes everything within 20 feet of you, it feels like the game's difficulty was scaled for a kindergartner.

You shouldn't need to spend that much to create a computer running this.

Graphics: Radeon 4850: $120 (actually way above the requirements, but barely more expensive).
CPU: Core 2 Quad Q8300 or Q6600: $175 (Both about meet the requirements, but these are easily overclockable by 30-50%ish, so you are again actually getting far more power then needed)
Motherboard: $60-120 depending on what you want. (Good motherboards with overclocking ability will cost a tad bit more, but pay off if you need it)
RAM: 2x2G of DDR2 RAM 800 : $50 (You don't even need 4 Gigs with an updated copy of vista or with win7, this is just as insurance for people who are running fresh copies with all the problems Vista had on release. 2.5 gigs should do it, maybe 3 gigs if you want to stretch it)
Total: About $450-500
All prices I got off newegg, may be able to get even cheaper if you look around.

Assuming you are using a computer at the moment, you already have everything else like the monitor, speakers/headphones, keyboard, mouse, and OS I assume, just keep those. In fact if your computer is relatively recent, there is a good chance you already have a compatible motherboard, and if you overclock your CPU to meet the recommended requirements thats even more money in your pocket. If you wanted to trim down the cost even further, a comp that ONLY met the recommended requirements would probably cost about $400, but honestly its better just to pay the extra $50-100 so that your computer is significantly faster and when a game comes out 1-2 years from now you aren't forced to upgrade again. This system should easily be runnable (not maxed, but decently beating the minimum requirements enough to be smooth) on games for a good 2-3 years.

Personally I have a Q6600 overclocked from 2.4 Ghz to 3.4 Ghz, a geforce 8800GT, and 2 gigs of RAM. Could probably use another stick of RAM at some point, but I'm doing fine at the moment.

Tassadar died in an awesome way, but the one that I remember most from starcraft was Fenix. He was pretty much your battle brother during the entire protoss campaign who was with you throughout all of the infighting within the protoss, he died once and was raised again in a dragoon to fight again. After Tassadar dies, he's the one who remains on Auir to fight off the zerg with Raynor (also an awesome character). Then he is tricked by Kerrigan into dismantling the Overmind and the UED alongside her, and YOU lead Kerrigan's surpise attack force to kill Fenix. And you kill him. That was the point at which you really realize just how evil Kerrigan had become.

Another memorable death is *SPOILER CHARACTER #1* in Persona 4. Mostly because it was YOUR fault *SPOILER CHARACTER #1* died, but also because at the end the last thing *SPOILER CHARACTER #2* says is to approve of what you did, thinking it was the right choice but not knowing what was really going on.

Third favourite was Jan from Dark Forces. In Star Wars: Dark Forces 2: Jedi Knight (lol long title), if you go the dark path you end up killing Jan to gain the power of the valley of the jedi. It was horrible seeing how badly the dark side would take you if you fell down that path. So rare to see actual significant story and game consequences to what you were doing in the FPS genre. After that, you were wholly aligned. You chose your path, no more wishy washy middle of the ground, and the game reminded you of it. Katarn is also one of my favourite characters, it was nice to see how he changed throughout the series.

If I was in PR thats how I would be responding. They can't really do anything about it through legal means, best to keep the response lighthearted and hope that it gets word about about your own game.

Heres a link to a gameplay video: http://www.gametrailers.com/player/usermovies/316675.html

That floating enemy (Overlord? Can't remember my Duke enemies well.) that grabs a human, throws him 10 feet in the air, catches him in his mouth, and then shreds him with his hoverboard IS AWESOME. Sad to see that some really cool stuff was actually going on and its now lost :(

Its even worse then this... far worse... the 1.5 Patch required to use the DLC will pretty much fuck up any mods you might use. AFAIK basically any mod placed objects will crash the game the 2nd time they are loaded, so the only way to keep the game running is to have them permanently loaded no matter where in the game you are, which does horrible, HORRIBLE things to your performance. Also mod npc skins are screwed up. Thread on the bethesda forums is here
http://www.bethsoft.com/bgsforums/index.php?showtopic=986090 .

Considering Bethesda still haven't fixed the problems the 1.4 patch brought (VATS targetting messed up in many ways), PC used are pretty much SOL with the new patch/DLC unless you want to give up all of the nice mods.

Pros:
Obsidian has a number of people who worked on Fallout 1&2.
NWN2:MOTB had what is undisputably among the best stories in recent times, and SoZ was a pretty decent game with a lot of the Fallout-style world roaming freeform adventure style stuff.

Cons:
Obsidian agreed to have it done in a year. HINT HINT: Thats why KOTOR 2 got a ton of stuff left out and generally fucked up.
