  • What can I say? I'm still a giant Zelda fan at heart. I'm really digging the art style, it seems like a perfect blend of the color of Wind Waker and the fidelity of Twilight Princess. The new items seem interesting, and I think requiring greater precision from the sword combat will make it feel more visceral. I'm excited to see what else they have up their sleeves.

  • I loved Fallout 3 despite its flaws, and I really like the guys at Obsidian despite their somewhat spotty track record, so I'm really hopeful for this one. All of the changes they've mentioned in interviews, from weapon mods to better companion AI, sound like great additions. And I think Obsidian has some of the best RPG writing in the business so I hope they come up with some great fiction to go with it.

  • I know it's popular to hate on Peter Molyneux these days, but I really did like Fable 2 a lot. I'd like to see some more details about how the kingdom management stuff works, but it looks like they've really bumped up the amount of visual flair from Fable 2 so I'm excited.

  • I'm a little bemused by the thread whip seemingly replacing the copy ability entirely, but the environment-altering mechanics and art style won me over so completely that it is near the top of the list regardless.

  • Chain chomp partner fuck yes. Love the Mario RPGs in both handheld and console format, I look forward to having a great time again.

  • I have really fond memories of the first two Golden Sun games, so even though they didn't show much I'm still hopeful. If they can preserve the depth of the Djinn system, come up with some more good Psyenergy puzzles and cut down on the wordy dialogue some, I'll be very satisfied.

  • Dude, YES. Loved Dead Space, and all the stuff they showed off at the press conferences looked fantastic. It's good to see all the constant whining about how the increased focus on action would 'ruin the horror' proven wrong so spectacularly.

  • I can't decide if the awful dialogue is hilarious or cringe-inducing yet, but the action looks over the top and fun as hell so I'm on board.

  • Not much to say about Gears, really. I expect it will be a really fun co-op experience with some interesting multiplayer modes. Horde was a huge addition to 2 that worked so well that basically every other shooter has a Horde-type mode now, so I look forward to seeing what CliffyB and crew come up with next.

  • It looks like Mikami and the dudes at Clover took Gears, removed all the ridiculous machismo, and then force-fed it a bunch of even more ridiculous Japanese-brand crazy. In other words, count me in.

  • Oh my god it looks SO GOOD. I can't believe Crytek doesn't license out their engine tech more when it can produce games that look like this.

  • Really enjoyed the first two games, I'm a little bummed they took out all the old classes but I'm sure it'll be great anyway.

  • Another game where the art style really won me over. It looks like a perfect blend between the old pre-rendered DKC stuff and the style they gave him in the Smash Brothers games.

  • I will inevitably suck horribly at this game but I'll probably buy it anyway.

  • Still a little skeptical on this one, but I like Warren Spector, the cutscene art style looks very unique and I really enjoyed the sidescrolling Steamboat Willy section. Much higher on it after seeing it at the press conference.

  • Okami is one of my favorite games of last generation, and I'm still skeptical since none of the old crew is working on this one. But part of me is so happy that we're getting an actual Okami sequel that I can't resist it.

  • Looks pretty much like Sin and Punishment, but I am completely happy with more Sin and Punishment.
