I've been grabbing some mods myself for FO3 lately - I don't know if you're aware of this site but:

 http://www.fallout3nexus.com/

Look over to the right, and click browse categories, you'll find  hair and face models - for the lazy:

 http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/cat.php?id=62

If  you organize your search options for endorsements, you'll probably find the best mods quicker.

When you load the game, at the splash screen click the data button, and put checkmarks next to the DLC boxes.

Once you get outta the vault, you'll get  few radio signals indicating the DLC stuff is loaded.

So yea, I've noticed that my performance has seemed to take a hit in Fallout 3.  It basically starts to chug at certain points, framerate problems mostly. Its not a consistent issue, but is kind of a pain in the ass.

Lately I've been installing and running some mods in fallout 3, but nothing heavy - I have M4 carbines mod, a glock and H&K pistol mod, and the Steiner combat gear mod running, but that's pretty much it.

Was just wondering if anyone noticed a performance dip after installing their mods, or if I should just stop putting so much pressure on my GFX card :)

restart your modem and your router, see if you can connect.

If not, login to the router to see if any settings have changed.

Man I live in a suburb of Montreal and even people here are freaking out. Habs are rocking the playoffs this year.

If I recall, Lybias commercial airline fleet is populated with Soviet era jets. They're crazy old, and who knows what maintenance standards for commercial airliners in Libya are.

Hey Ajay, word of advice, watch that stimpack use. Stimpacks in the game are prohibitively expensive to purchase from vendors, unless you're playing with a screwy build and dumping points into barter for whatever reason. Save those stimpacks as much as possible as for a situation where you really need them. As an example, I've started a new game, have gone through the first two chapters of the Wasteland Survival guide quest, just finished the THOSE! quest, disarmed Megaton's bomb, finished the Blood Ties quest and have now just initiated Three Dogs quest. I'm at level 9, and have about 60 stimpacks in my inventory, I've used maybe two stimpacks during my playthrough at this point.

You should pretty much be using food items exclusively for healing early on in the game, saving the stims for much later down the line when you really need them. Save your rad away for when you're really in a jam, making sure to regularly visit a doctor to clear up your radation levels for 100 caps (or, if you have your house at this point, invest in a medical station once you have the caps!)
