Me personally I absolutely adored this film, then again I try not to hate everything for some silly reason like I think it'd make me cool or something.
Seriously this movie is doing so bad Edgar Wright is probably going to have to beg the studios to even get another movie, and it's all on the shoulder of people who have silly, petty reasons to not want to go see it.
A great director's career might not survive. Congratulations world, you probably don't deserve his work anyway.
Yeah it's an autobiography of a pro wrestler, but I'm reading A Lion's Tale by Chris Jericho for the third time now, incredibly funny, and someone even my brother and friends, who aren't wrestling fans in the slightest have enjoyed a lot.
Yeah I'm not surprised at all it's failing, being released in mid-august, the same day as The Expendables, and having Michael Cera as the lead made for a perfect storm of box office bomb.
Shame too, it's a fantastic movie and it's going to lose out in the box office to that friedberg/seltizer abortion. Further proving there's no justice left in the world.
