i just recently finished building my PC at medium/good budget.. 
Intel Core i5, 4GB DDr3 RAM, 1TB HDD & ATI Radeon HD5870... imo this is a decent PC which should let me run all current + upcoming titles... probably will upgrade the ram to 6-8GB next month :)

currently have a Benq Full HD 23"  monitor and imo its the perfect desktop size for a PC monitor... 

Wii was the last console I got cause i do prefare the other 2... however it has some great 'fun' titles... lately with the exception of SMG2 there was nothing more i wanted, however this will change when games such as Metroid, Donkey Kong & Kirby get released :)
