Top Mods Made into Full Games

5.League of Legends (I know what your thinking but RIOT is basically made up of the DOTA team so deal with it)
4. Garry's Mod
3.Killing Floor
2.Counter Strike
1.Team Fortress this is one of the most fun games with freaking amazing balance, classes, and a smart sense of humor (at least in TF2) it's hard not to put up there. Also I count TF2 in this because it's a sequel to a Mod made into a full game.

I tried the demo for killing floor and, whilst I liked the concept, there just wasn't enough polish to keep me entertained.

You have made a bunch of blogs now which are lists of games - I cannot help but wonder why you aren't using the awesome giantbomb list tool. You can find it on your profile page under "more". Once you have made an official list you can post it onto a blog by clicking the "insert" box above the text editor. When you post a giantbomb list it adds all the boxart and links to relevant wiki pages automatically. Here's one of my lists as an example:

Games With Great Soundtracks

Some music stays with you longer after you have stopped playing the game it was paired with. Here is a selection of my favourite tunes that, for one reason or another, I can't seem to stop listening to. Some of them are even free to download, take a peek...

1. Braid

Beautifully relaxing and mellow. Sleepy music for sleepy people.

2. Halo 3

One of the few games with a full orchestral score accompanying it, the music of the halo universe really is fantastic and fully lends itself to the epic scale of the franchise.

3. Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved

Upbeat electro chimes with pockets of tranquillity. Also it's free to download:

4. Machinarium

A nice mix of everything with wonderful design and originality. Clinky robo music. Free bonus tracks:

5. The Orange Box

With tracks from Half Life 2, Portal, and the crazy upbeat trumpets of Team Fortress 2, this OST has a bit of everything. Sounds great, and of course includes the mandatory "Still Alive" track from Portal.

6. VVVVVV

Fucking slick 8-bit electro magic. This music loops continuously throughout VVVVVV which might go a fair way to explaining why it's now embedded in my skull.

7. Shatter

Hope this helps duder :)
