Almost time for Christmas basketball!!! I can't wait for the games. I hope the Pels keep the good play going! TakeFlight!!

@sarnecki: Oh man yeah. I totally didn't think about it just sucking up the stars to destroy systems. That seems so much more menacing to me. They destroy the star and just leave. Nothing is destroyed in that moment, but it leaves those planets panicking because they have to leave before the planet dies. Also it would leave planet sized reminders of the New Order's power. Imagine if you came across a planet that was completely abadoned, but still had all these huge buildings and infrastructure. Oh man that would be so good!

I just saw it and loved it. It is so good to have a Star Wars movie feel like the original. As many people said I care more for these new characters than any of the characters from the prequels. I'm going to do bullet points since that seems like the popular thing to do when discussing the movie.

• I LOVE Kylo Ren. I love his look, his speak, his actions, EVERYTHING. I wish he kept his mask on for longer, but ow well. I think he is the perfect character for the person that would be brought over to the Dark Side. He felt abandoned by his family when Leia and Han sent him off to train with Luke which made him vulnerable to Snoke. Also he is so temperamental, and seems to fly off to deep end whenever he doesn't get his way (again another great Dark Side trait). I think him just slashing everything up with his lightsaber when he was told they didn't get BB-8 and when he saw Rey was gone was perfect. He is so immature, brash, head-strong, and impulsive. I think that is the perfect candidate for a Sith apprentice.
• I really like Finn. I really like John Boyega too. I saw a couple people say they thought his defection was pretty forced and didn't make much sense since Stormtroopers are these programmed killing machines. I think that it makes plenty sense. He was a sanitation worker on the Starkiller base, and he sees his, I'm presuming, friend get killed right in front of him in what looks like he first combat. You're telling me that you wouldn't have second thoughts on your job if you were moved from cleaning up trash and mopping floors to being put into combat?
• Also another thing on Finn. Do you think he has Force sensitivity? He grabbed the lightsaber and seemed to have an idea of what he was doing. I kinda hope he doesn't just because it would be so crazy that he is also a Jedi.
• Another thing is saw was people against Snoke's appearance. I agree he is very generic, and just over all bad looking dude. My only thinking behind his look is that Abrams was thinking that all Sith Masters end up looking like the Emperor and that because of the Dark Side. I'm not saying that I like the look, but that's what my thinking for why they made him look like that.
• Oh back to Kylo Ren. Do you think he was obsessed with being like Darth Vader/Anakin even before he was Kylo Ren? Is that one of the reasons he was drawn to the Dark Side or was that fascination only there after he turned? Also after that final lightsaber fight it looked like he lost his hand and got a scar across his face just like Anakin. You have to wonder if that will play into his ego in the next films.
• I agree that the Starkiller station was pretty lame. No more planet destroying stations please. Also props to the New Order to know when to pull out of the exploding space station this time instead of just sitting around till it explodes. The Starkiller station seemed super familiar though. Was that a thing in the old extended universe?
• Was there other things from the old extended universe? Han and Leia having a son named Ben isn't that out there so I'm not surprised by that happening in both. I also think he fell to the Dark Side in the EU, but I'm not 100% sure about the EU so I could be mistaken.
• Also this left me with so many questions which is awesome!!! I'm so glad that there is so many new crazy things to know and learn. I never felt this interested in so much about the prequels. I'm just afraid that they're going to break some of these up in so many different movies.

I'm so excited for more movies. Bring them on J.J.!!!!!!!

If I was the FBI agent I would have played the album on the car ride to the jail. That would have been the ultimate fuck you. Then just ask how much he payed for it, and say "ah this song is ok" all the time.

I remember playing Star Wars Battlefront for hours on hours. I didn't even play it online. I just would play against the computer. I was beast! I also played Republic Commando and really loved it, but I couldn't beat it without cheat codes. I just wasn't used to FPS, but looking back on it I remember it very fondly.

I have both KOTOR and KOTOR 2 on my computer and have been wanting to play it for awhile, but just haven't gotten around to it. Maybe I finally do get time to play them soon.

The NBA trade season is upon us. The big names that have been making the rounds are Markieff Morris (Suns), one of the many Bulls F/C's, and Ryan Anderson (Pels). It was nice to see that the Pels weren't openly shopping Anderson, but just listening to offers. I think that is the best move until the trade deadline. Then the team needs to decide if it is in the playoff push or should just get what they can for him.

A lot of Pels people are calling the blow up the team and start over. I'm not quite ready to say that, but I'm definitely willing to hear out trade offers for our guys. Tyreke Evans and Omer Asik are the players most needed to be moved. Evans there might have a chance of being traded, but I don't know for what or to whom. Asik.... well not so much. Evans just doesn't fit the system. He pounds the ball, and doesn't get us into our sets till it's too late in the shot clock (other players are to blame on that last part too though). Anderson is probably the most likely to be moved with Eric Gordon being second, but I'm not sure what we will get for either of them.

@dochaus: Well that's great to hear that he is the real deal. If only we could get someone like that to put alongside AD. The Wiz always seemed to prosper in spite of their management and coaching as of late it seemed to me so I understand your timidness about having a back up plan.

@dochaus: What if we throw in Ryan Anderson in that trade? haha I remember seeing some of the signings y'all made this offseason and thought they would work out. Not so much it seems. What's up with Beal? He always seems to be injured lately. I remember I went to the Rookie/Sophomore game the year All-Star Weekend was in New Orleans with my dad, and told him I would trade anyone on our team, except AD, to get Beal. Am I hyping him up too much in my mind or is he for real but just can't stay on the court?
