Im a fan but not a huge fan of Rockstar. While they have always created great characters, and story, game play wise its always a little stale IMO. RDR corrects all of my negatives. No other game in memory had me more enthralled into everything it has to offer from beginning to end and that doesnt even include the DLC. A title that will be the measuring stick for others for years to come.

The continuing story of Commander Shepard and his fight to save humanity continues to be the best sci fi action story since Star Wars. I still believe the biggest mistake was killing Saren but you cant complain with the non stop action, decisions and stunning locations in ME2. If DLC is included in the overall vote, ME2 would overtake RDR as the GOTY.

The closest thing you can get to an Uncharted title this year. Beautiful graphics, terrific story, memorable characters all blend together for maybe the biggest surprise of the year.

While it didn't progress the series, it was more Fallout. Adding factions, companions, workbenches to the already ridiculous amount of dialogue only makes the future for this series even more promising.

I have to say i approached Bayonetta cautiously. This type of genre is not in my wheelhouse, but i cant deny i loved every second. How can you resist a heroine who has guns as stilettos, power moves that burst from here hair, stripper like dance moves with a soundtrack that may eventually drive you insane. A totally fun, outrageous experience that is over the top in an awesome way.

I never played Zelda, nor do i have any intention, but as being constantly compared to as a clone, Darksiders will be my Zelda experience that i am proudly to proclaim as my first 'S' ranked title.

Is there another title that was being watched more closely than Black Ops? I think not, which makes Treyarch's achievement even more incredible. Solid story, game play, and additional content make this title one of the best in the series.

Now this title wont make many lists, but i think Bioshock 2 was a solid shooter and one of the best of the year. Returning to Rapture 10 years after the original brought dual wielding weapons and a new role as a big daddy trying to save the sisters. A satisfying conclusion with an on line mode that kept me playing for weeks.

This is my S.T.A.L.K.E.R. award winner. The award goes to the game i think has everything going for it, story, characters, environments, and enemies but falls short of expectations. However its still a lot of fun and cant wait for the sequel.

One of last years titles i was able to finally play. Its not going to be remembered or add anything new but i had a lot of fun reminiscing of the old days gaming on the pc and nothing still beats killing nazis over and over again.
