It's gotta be Ivy. Doesn't matter which game she's in, any variation on her embarrassing outfit makes me ashamed to play those games. I mean, it's the same complaint you can level at most comic book super heroine's costumes, but this is about 10x worse. Did the designers really think that the audience would find this sexy and arousing? It's just gross.
I may or may not find this "sexy and arousing" >_> This design absolutely is completely ridiculous, though.
I haven't picked up the retail game yet (plan on doing that tomorrow), but in the beta my two favourites were Mei and Lucio. I voted for Lucio. He's fun to get around with, I enjoy being able to give everyone a speed boost and switch to healing as need be.
Wolfenstein is a great game, with some pretty damn good level design and great story and characters, but I prefer DOOM by a fair margin thanks to its combat (that is just the most pure fun I've had with an FPS) and levels with lots of nooks and crannies to explore with a great map/compass to help the process.
Listening to Observer Radio, it sounds like Vince is going to try to give Cody a hard time finding work. They haven't actually released him from his contract, so until they come to terms or Cody lawyers up and actually gets them to kill the contract, he won't be working anywhere.
Vince being a piece of shit carny fuck. What a twist.
As a dirty console gamer I don't really care about resolution, I sit far enough away from my TV that the difference between 1080p and 900 or 720 is negligible. Image quality just isn't that important to me and I always kind of find the way some gripe on it bizarre (more power to them, though). I'd much rather have a consistent and high framerate - that said, again as a filthy console gamer who has grown used to it - I won't stop playing a game if it has a lowish or inconsistent framerate if I'm enjoying the game itself (that's not to say awful framerate can't result in a game not being fun to play).
Anybody got an opinion on Fable 3? I happen to have a copy and was wondering if it was worth going into or if I should just go out and buy a copy of Fable 2
I really enjoyed Fable 3, but it has its issues. A lot of people hated the last third of that game and I can understand why (it really didn't bother me, personally). I'm inclined to say give it a shot if you already have a copy.
