I really enjoyed Lone Survivor this year and it's got me thinking more about horror games. I'm very susceptible to horror games so I try to be careful of what I play. This game has a kind of minimal design that builds tension very well. The whole idea behind this game is that it creates a different narrative depending on your play-through. This comes down to whether or not you pick up certain items and visit all of the locations. I think the ambiguous nature of the story aids in the general creepy feeling you get from the game and its locales.
