any thoughts on darksiders? I really liked the demo, been thinking about picking it up when my game backlog is in better shape.

@Axellion: It's not a bad game, but I didn't end up liking it as much as I thought I would.  I also thought it was a bit longer than it needed to be, but keep in mind that I have games like Heavy Rain, Mass Effect 2 and Battlefield Bad Company 2 that I'm much more interested to play through.  What I'm trying to say is, in full disclosure, perhaps I didn't enjoy Darksiders as much because it was making me put off games that I was more interested in playing.  I'd even say it was pretty good, and it was more enjoyable than any Legend of Zelda game (a common comparison) in the past decade (with the exception of Minish Cap).  I'll give the sequel a shot, but I certainly won't be rushing out to preorder it.

@Axellion: I heard there's a 90-ish minute demo (through the end of the "first dungeon", I believe) on XBL/PSN if you want to try before you buy.  Or you can use the CAG price tracker for price-drop alerts:  www.cheapassgamer.com

@MGSolid86: I tried the demo on live, i really liked it, before i played the demo the game was no where on my radar, i figured it was just bland rip off of Zelda, now i realize that might be a good thing. I'm definitely gonna have to keep my eyes out for a price drop, thanks man.
