I don't get the frame rate issues people are having.... there were one or two parts where it dipped, but after hearing all of the complaints about Blight Town, when I finally got there I was surprised by how decent the frame rate actually was. And as for the Poison Swamp, I found it was best to let myself get poisoned and not worry about it. My HP Loss rate was so slow (probably because of my pyromancer starting armor) that it hardly even mattered to me.

"Deathly Hallows" and it can be set in England modern time, and with a stonger focus on sorcery. I can't believe no one ever thought of this! :O

Deadly Souls, Soul's Collector, or Poopie Souls

Turning the game off at 10 pm to go to bed early and being unable to sleep for 4 hours thinking about how to progress tomorrow night... Dark Souls

I like the Dark Souls soundtrack better. It has better sounding MIDI samples and has some truly great compositions. The Demon's Souls soundtrack had a few stand out tracks, but overall felt very budgeted.

Lady Elowyn... i don't know, I liked it and thought it sounded very Tolkien'esque. My Demon's Souls character was Gwenyfar.

I had the same problem with my +5 Winged Spear disappearing from the upgrades at the blacksmith... will try this when I get home from work tonight! Good thread :)

Of course Dark Souls is not a "fair" game... that is the whole point. If it was fair, your attacks would do as much damage as a Boss and you have the same HP. This game is about using your brain and instestinal fortitude to overcome despite your weaknesses. There's always a better way to handle a situation, even the seemingly "cheap" ones.
