Dan's got to work on his mic technique. Really get that mic up on the person you're interviewing. Other than that, great job. That Brock interview seemed terrifying.
I'm only an hour into this episode but both the Mafia 3 conversation and the No Man's Sky conversation have made me extremely excited to play both of those games.
The best argument for NMS I've heard is the feeling of wonder and insignificance that they talked about here. Realizing how small and meaningless you are in the vastness of space is, to me, the most interesting thing about space so a game that is able to give you that feeling sounds like exactly what I'm looking for.
As the son of a teacher, I can confirm that teachers don't do shit during the summer. And it's not a seniority thing. A friend of my mine who just finished his first year as a high school history teacher told me that he might just go backpacking through Europe this summer.
And to be clear, this is not me saying that teaching is a easy job or anything. It's an invaluable difficult job but it's a pretty sweet gig during the summer, for sure.
@olivaw: manspreading is annoying, for sure but creating arbitrary laws that give cops more of an excuse to harass people is much more annoying.
I should note that I haven't gotten to this conversation in the podcast yet so I'm not sure what the context is but I do know the manspreading laws in New York are mostly bullshit. Sorry if that wasn't what discussed and I'm just yelling into the void about something completely unrelated here.
