Everything that was said about Siege - the level of strategy of Operators countering other Operators, adding new Operators, and new Modes can be said about Overwatch as well. I understand that most of them played more Siege than Overwatch, but like, them saying this category was made for this game, and Brad being blown away by the level of strategy involved, Overwatch has all that!
And I agree that Siege is good, but the business model for that game seriously sucks. I was gifted the entry-level $15 version, and it is a huge grind to unlock any Operators. You are actually punished for buying in at that level, not only because you get less Operators off the bat, but also all Operators cost (double?) the in-game currency as someone who owns the standard $50 version. Like, what the fuck?
If all Abby is going to do is sit there looking bored with her cheek on the mic why does she come on here?
Abby gets shit for talking, and shit for not talking too? Jesus Christ, I mean she's not my favorite but wow. Not everyone has to fucking talk all the time. If someone hasn't played a game then they probably won't talk much during discussion of that game. What a stupid fucking thing to say.
@shepdelonge: I didn't think the crew was directly hating on Carrot Top. He's just been the butt of jokes his whole career. It's almost expected that anyone would thumb their nose at the mention of Carrot Top. His perception is that of being a punch line. Perhaps for his lowest-common-denominator style of comedy, plus his short-lived and terrible film career.
That being said, Carrot Top seemed to embrace his perception, and poke fun at himself publicly in interviews or in his comedy. I always enjoyed what stand-up I saw of his on TV, he was unique and good at what he did. Not hilarious, but just quick silly jokes that anyone could understand.
BF1 had a similar Single Player Campaign, with cutscenes and voice acting. The presentation is actually quite good. I'd like to see what DICE could do with a SP-focused game.
