Dark Souls on Twitch cannot leverage the anarchy vs democracy system that made Pokemon so interesting, and Pokemon had zero elements of timing in it. This will never, ever happen.

@geraltitude: It is, but given the reactions in this thread, most people haven't had their lives brightened by this.

@mrpilkington: Here's the official comparison from Konami. Keep in mind that those are stills and the game may feel or even look differently in motion.

Not possible. Even assuming the absolute best case, there are at least a handful of bosses that they'd never get past, assuming they've mastered basic things like moving and attacking.

The Witch of Izalith fight is a coin toss for most normal players; she either lobs you into the pit, or not. One controlled by the hive mind has a better chance of each individual member getting struck by lightning at once than beating her, and that's such a massive overestimation of their cohesion that it's absurd to even contextualize it.

@kasaioni: It was my first playthrough and I spent the whole game going non-lethal, so I had barely used any of the other weaponry available. Plus, the split screen really cut down on what you can see, and at the time I didn't have a large TV to play it on, so it was kinda hard to see where to aim.

No part 13 on Friday? :(

I am positively giddy with anticipation for when Drew gets to pilot Rex. It was SUCH an awesome moment for me when I played the game for the first time, and Rex even controls PRETTY good all things considering!

After the frustration that was Suicide Gekkos, getting to stomp around in Rex had me grinning the whole time.

@trowa_s: Seriously, it's crazy and getting crazier. I'm happy to do it; more people means more fun.

"Boss, I've sent VIs of the targets to your iDroid... Take a good look.

Try using the fulton to bring them back to base, they might prove to be valuable to BSF."

I thought i'd share these ever-so-creepy portraits of the GB staff I put together. I followed a tutorial to achieve the half tone effect and then overlayed and warped actual Peace Walker recruit artwork in an attempt to mimic the shadowy eyes and shading seen in Shinkawa's illustrations (Specifically the effect of the Peace Walker recruit portraits). It makes the crew look equal parts badass and sinister.

Those are equal parts awesome and creepy, especially Drew who looks like a stone cold murderer.

While I love many modern games and am looking forward to some major releases (MGS V has dominated my thoughts recently), I find it's a lot easier for me to get lost in a SNES game and play it for hours and hours. Part of that is nostalga but part of it is my love of precise game mechanics, and may of those older titles still feel very mechanically sound.

Many of the modern titles that I love are games which could have been made in the early 90s if the graphics were scaled back. So while I enjoyed my 60+ hours with The Witcher 3, I'm always willing to play a game of Super Mario Kart.

Heroes is absolutely the wrong game for Dan; he hates having to takes his time or wait around, will not be able to resist wailing on enemy heroes, and will despise having to pull back when he overextends (which he will do almost all of the time).

Not to rain on this parade but a MOBA might as well be the exact opposite of everything he likes.

We're up to 50 members on PC and even more on PSN! The response to this dumb little idea has been stellar so far.

Once again, if any of your info is incorrect (I've still got a few ??? for PSN players who didn't tell me what platform they are on), just shoot me a PM and I'll clear it up. Don't let them scatter your ashes to the heartless sea, and by that I mean not get any new friend requests because your platform info or name is wrong.
