My First Blog: Randomisity!

Randomisity- Being complelety spontaneous and doing whatever the hell I feel like doing or saying.

TV

So, I just watched Mythbusters: NASA Moon Landing, and they just proved that the moon landing was real. You can no longer argue to whether the moon landing is real or not, because you would be arguing with this guy:

And you wouldn't want to do that would you.

How I game

Now, seeing as no one here at Giantbomb knows me, heres the low down on how I game. The gaming platforms I have are:

  • Playstation 3 (PSN: Fudgeman7)
  • Playstation 2
  • Playstation
  • Gameboy
  • Gameboy Advance
  • Nintendo Wii
  • Nintendo DS
  • PSP
  • PC

Now, I mostly play PS3, feel free to add me.

Games that I am enjoying at the moment

1) Battlefield: Bad Company (PS3). Now, when I first got this game, I played it for a while, but was just like meh. Recently, upon the release of Battlefield 1943, I decided to give it another go. And I love it. When running through a building, and a tank blows up the wall next to me, I just can't contain the thrill I get. I've even convinced my friend to get the game, just by showing it to him once, so now I have someone to play online with. I got 1943 too, but Bad Company is way better. The plane map on 1943 is not as good as it sounded.

2) SOCOM: Confrontation (PS3). Many of you would be like what the hell, this game sucks. But it doesn't. The attraction of the headset really led to me buying the game, and both the game and headset are awesome. First of all, the community on SOCOM is amazing, especially for the PS3's standards; in most games, most people have headsets. The headsets are of amazing quality, and they are re-chargable, so no more spending loads on batteries! YAY! The graphics in the game are not too good though, so this lets the game down a bit. But, all of the problems that were in the game upon release all mostly all gone: no lag at all, the leaderboards work. I have yet to find a glitch in the game. Also, the customisation on all the weapons and your characters is sweet, and really adds to the depth of the game. The best thing about the game is the maps, and the way they are set out. The layouts really add to the tactics needed to play the game. I also really like the one life per round set up, as the tension is so high, and getting a kill feels like it really means something, unlike a kill you would get in COD4. Everyone needs to give this game a break.

3) Silent Hill 2 (PS2) . I was sitting around in my room, alone, in the dark, and I felt like getting scared, so naturally I stuck Silent Hill 2 in my PS3, which, by the way, was my first ever PS2 game. Now, this game is weird, therefore making it scary, especially when playing alone in the dark in the middle of the night. The fact that you can't see more than 5 feet in front of you adds to the tension of the game. Anyways, im walking down a corridor in game, when A weird thing with legs for a head comes up to me, and I actually said 'AHH', before I bashed it into the floor with my stick. WIN. Also the puzzle elements of the game make you think hard, whilst being chased up by some crazy freaks. When I first played this game, I never managed to finish it, but seeing as I am now a more mature gamer, I thought I would give it another go, and it is worth it.
