Story and gameplay contrivances aside, and to be fair it IS an RPG, so they aren't that out of the norm, this game rocked my socks off, had a butt-tonne of DLC to keep me going, and will likely be next on my S-rank list. But fuck gathering minerals.

Err... I really look forward to the next Fallout game perhaps being on a more modern, less buggy as all shit engine. But I still played the hell out of it, and will try the DLC...when they patch them.

Dude, its more Puzzle Quest, which is a good thing. Nothing against Mr Jeff Green, but it is the best Match-3 gaming expreince this year.

I have heard so many people express so many frustration about "that one big annoying thing" that I have been hesitant to start playing this. It is currently sitting in my backlog, probably never to be played, as was the fate of its predecessor.

This was going to have been my first Final Fantasy title. Yup, never played a one, never had much interest in them, but wanted a good, branching, in-depth, well structured RPG this year.
So I picked up Dragon Age: Origins.

You know what was funny in 1994? The Tick. Now a days, that shtick wears a little thin, and painting it over self-aware RPG and fantasy tropes only makes it worse. Pointing out how 'funny' you think certain mechanics are isn't funny, and neither are thong jokes. Also, did it really need a not-really-a-sequel?

What's that? You hear crickets chirping? Yeah me too. I don't know that anybody was around to be disappointed by this game, which for a FF title is just batshit. What happened? I don't know.
