This post relates to:
PlayStation 3,
LittleBigPlanet
So I was playing the L4d demo, GoW2 and Fallout 3 a couple of days ago...and I hate to admit it, but I got bored. I mean I love gears 2, but I just got suuuuper pissed at the matchmaking (30 minutes for one game) and I was watching some LBP videos and damn I just wanna jump in. And I know that Ps3 is lots of shooters, but its a variety and I like to mix it up.
I've been looking into PS3 stuff, just games I can jump right into and relax and play like LBP or Motorstorm. Also, Blu ray anyone? =] I mean, I have a wii, but thats no fun unless your playing tennis with some friends, and that effect has worn thin awhile ago.
Also, I have overall cut down my playing time by a lot becuase of hanging out with friends, homework, etc.
Don't get me wrong, I will most deffanintley not quit Live, especially with the NXE coming out. Anyone have any suggestions with my idea of the Ps3? Also, before I decide purchasing, does anyone know of a possible price cut? I don't want to buy one then /slash!, price cut!
Any suggesestions are appreciated =]

Hello fellow Giantbombers
Recently, I acquired the COD5 beta, and so far, I'm not all that impressed. WaW is really COD4, so if you still really enjoy cod4, this is your game. But, for me, I was hoping to get something different/upgraded. Most of the perks are even the same, I actually have a class the same exact thing as it is on my COD4.
The maps are really cool, giving a good old school feeling. The weapons are essentially the same, now with bolt action rifles and other single shot rifles like the G3. Otherwise, WaW is pretty much Cod4
If you have any questions, comment this blog and I'll answer. Sorry this was kinda short but I'm a little busy lately, my high school Homecoming is tomorrow, so I'm ready to juke some ass =]

Front Entrance, hallway to kitchen
Lately, my parental units pondered, "What would it be like if we had hardwood floors in our kitchen?"
Kitchen, no tile
Lately, they decided to actually follow through and get the hardwood floors in the kitchen and the laundry room. (These rooms are connected with crappy tile, so they thought it was worth it to just get all the crappy tile out). It's looking really shitty right now, because the only thing that is in my kitchen is just this flooring. However, the workers did decide that they had enough time to lay down the hardwood in the small laundry room. It looks awesome, what a great idea. Enjoy the pics, taken by yours truly.
Laundry room, with the hardwood!
Not to mention, there was a pretty big storm where I live about a month ago and my sub pump decided to stop working, causing my basement to flood with a foot of water. Carpet, furniture and everything was ruined. On the plus side, my old TV down there was a hulk, and my parents weren't willing to haul it up and back down. They decided to haul it up, but never bring it back down, and replace it with a shiny new flat screen HD TV. =] But, this week is hardwood floor week, so next week, I will keep everyone up to date with pics on how the basement is going.
Peace out

Helllllo all.
Recently I posted a blog on how I would be getting steam with maybe some cs source. However, my new computer has an integrated graphics card and is unable to handle these. Oh well, it was just something to tide me over till more games on the 360 come out during the fall (Fallout 3, Left 4 Dead)
Looks like going back to TF2 on the 360 is my only option. Oh well,
Happy gaming!

Hey all
I'm seriously considering about getting into the Steam community, does anyone here use it? My name is obviously mussbus999, in case you want to add me. I dont have any games yet, but that will change.
I am really into Fallout 3, but sometimes, I really feel a need to play some CS, or some GOOD TF2 matches. What do you guys think?
So yeah, purchases soon to be made= Fallout 3, probably CS Source,

An amazing game that any fan of RPG's should own
The Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion is literally the deepest game I have ever played. There is no limit on what to do in this game. From going to a city's main castle and kicking over the guards dinner on the floor, to robbing the local sword shop of everything they own. There is no shortage of fun in this game, so lets get started.
The player starts off in a prison, unknowing of their own crime, when the king of Cyrodill walks in and explains that "he is the one" and you are whisked away to begin your quest that the King gives you. This is also where the player chooses his class, race, skills and attributes. During this confrontation, you will find out that there is no shortage in awesome voice acting. Everything is nailed to a T.
Once you are out of the prison and the king gives you the main story quest, you can completely ignore it and start on the numerous side quests, exploring caves and tombs, robbing stores for loot, or go on a killing rampage. There are consequences to actions, the city guard will attack if you do decide to perform some illegal actions. Literally no limit to things you can do in the world of Oblivion.
Leveling up in this game is different then what you would expect in an RPG. Spells (fire, ice), weapons (swords, blunt, staves), to armor (heavy, light) has their own category. Each time you use these things, the more and more powerful these things will become. Once you level one of these categories, your character will level up and you will become stronger.
Cyrodill is the most beautiful game I have ever seen in my 15 years of living. To sunsets, thunderstorms, and sunny days, everything just looks great. The environments look amazing too. Forests, caves, and buildings all have an extraordinary detail to everything. However, buildings and caves all have the same layout, with the occasional special tomb or building that is probably in the story. The game runs great, with no hiccups in frame rate.
Combat is another great feature in Oblivion. Players use the left trigger to use a shield, if equipped, and the right trigger to use a sword, axe, or other many weapons of choice. Players will also use the right bumper to use spells that are eqipped. This all conjures up in the pot of awesomeness to make combat a seamless experience that is an amazing revolution.
Any fan of RPG's will be awed by this masterpiece. I really cannot explain my love for this game. It just must be played by everyone. From downloadable content that adds to the experience, it is almost impossible to not play this game over and over again. I logged easily 200 hours, and anyone can.

Grand Theft Auto IV. Does anything go wrong with you? You and your gripping story and such human like characters. Your beautiful city in which there is no limit of stuff to do. Everything about you is amazing.
The game starts with the main character Niko Bellic arriving in Liberty City, greeted by his cousin, Roman. Niko soon finds that Roman lied about living the rich life, and Niko's tale of killing and death in Liberty City begins. It is a deep and interesting story with twists and turns that leaves on you your seat, wanting more. But, my favorite part is Niko in general. He acts, like I have said it before, human. He has these werid things called emotions and feeling that you don't really find in games all that much anymore. The best Grand Theft Auto main character ever.
If you have ever played a GTA game, you will feel right at home. You carry out missions for various people, wheather it be killing, stealing, or dealing. There is no short of action in GTA IV, which is helped immensly by the new cover system, via Gears of War. It works very well and can be a life saver. The guns look and feel great, and there are many guns to be used.
Driving is the most improved, IMO. Every car feels, looks, and IS different. Every car has its own feel, and touch. For example, a sports car is going to have hella acclearation and decent handling, while a truck will be the opposite.
A fan of video games in general will feel right at home with GTA IV and i reccomend it to everyone and anyone.
