Not to get all philosophical here, but is there a "cap" on the amount of experience you can gain from getting it handed to you for countless hours?

I mean sooner or later you're bound to get to a point where you cannot physically be any better than your practise has allowed you and at that point you still might suck. It's a shame this point isn't easier to identify so people who want to be good but likely can't be could give up without getting frustrated. Or if this isn't the case and you're able to consistantly get better the more you play, surely you'll be forever catching up to the people who have played longer.

Either way I'm playing with people locally who are equally as suck and not really improving but having hella fun!

I belive this is a warning rather than a noun.

As for SSFIV I suck really badly too, but I'm still enjoying it for some reason, I also bought a copy of BlazBlue after SFIV got me kinda hooked on 2D fighters. I suck at that too but I've had loads more luck online, probably because of the total ass randomness of it all. Maybe it's worth a look if you can put up with the copious amounts of anime and melodrama.

Bought SFIV a little over a month ago and never really tried it online for fear of being destroyed by people who have been playing it since release. But I suppose I'll have to offer myself up for a kicking at some point, so might as well start with SSFIV.

In review, I got beat, a lot. But not as much as I expected to, turns out that the majority of people online are human after all. There weren't an awful lot of people on so I had matchups vs the same few people, after numerous losses I was able to learn what they liked to do and how to avoid it. Beat a Ragna player after a couple of games against him, Jin fights didn't seem to go too badly either, came close with fights against Noel and Arakune but never actually won. Only had one instance of someone quitting just as I was about to win.

Let me start by saying I am woeful at this game, but am enjoying it none the less. So in an attempt to improve I'm trying some online bouts a little later today!

Just posting this incase anyone is similarly intimidated by the online game and wants the chance to play someone of a similar skill level (mash the do coolstuff button). I'll be the really badly played Taokaka drifting from asskicking to asskicking on ranked mode. Also if anyone has any basic tips for the online portion of the game, that'd be appreciated too!

Throw up some shrouds and libra him, have lightning go healer and faith go synergist untill you have barthunder up. Then switch to healer/ravager and it should all be fine, if you can survive the first few hits. This fight gave me some trouble too till I worked it out. As for the game I found it a lot more entertaining after it started to open up, so stick with it!

She easily warrents the price tag if you're interested in playing through the whole game again. Although if you're just going to do her mission on an endgame save it seems a little on the short side.

I'm rather stuck on mission 64. I was just interested to know if it's possible if you've only maxed out the 3 main roles of all of your party members or if I'm just doing it wrong. I've had a little look elsewhere on the internet and they suggest using paradigms that I don't exactly have access too as I've not the crystarium points to fill out that paticular role.

So question is; is it possible to do only having maxed out the 3 main roles and if so what party setup will I need? or is it simply not possible untill you've maxed all your roles?
