@mrfluke: I'm of the opposite opinion on having everyone there and wish they would take it even a step forward and not have the previous commander tell the next one what happened or what the plan was. Vinny could just give them a quick recap of the previous episode without telling them what the plan was for research and building. I can just imagine the consternation when your turn comes up again only to realize they steered the game away from what you wanted.
@voodoopc: As a current line worker at GM we make less than $30/hr, when I hired in back in '98 it was around $23/hr at no time has it been $40/hr and that bonus was profit sharing. The company made a lot of money, everyone who helped them make that money deserves part of it not just a select few.
Until this last November '15 new workers hired after 2007 made less than $20 and there was no language that said GM had to pay them more than that ever. Now they can make as much as I do eventually, it will take them 8 years to do so but at least now there is a written contract stating that.
