I've put in quite a few hours in the game, and even I haven't seen the Sunbeam yet. I've held off on it because I thought that was the end of the game. I wonder if this is safe to watch anyway?
It's definitely not pronounced "fee", though. I guess "fear" minus the 'r' would be the closest you could get. (Or the way a Brit would say it.) "Fay" would work since that's just the English equivalent of the same word.
Everything I read about this game makes it sound like it made the one good thing about the first game, the Nemesis system, and made it better. But people seem to dislike this game overall a lot more.
@kanerobot: As someone who has yet to play the first game, the only thing I think is strange is that the issues mentioned by Jeff didn't also plague the first game (or if they did, no one ever said as much.) How did they manage to flub it so bad?
You know, if the PC version had come out at the same time as the console releases, I probably would have gotten it. But I feel like the more I see of it, the more I realize it's not for me. A lot of really head-scratching design decisions for me. Really not a fan of the arbitrary party wiping and haphazard puzzle design.
Yikes. Well, the environments being destructible is cool at least... The pacing of the gameplay and the scope of it don't look like they'd be appealing to me, contrary to what I was expecting. I didn't know the singleplayer was just a series of battles in an arena, either.
