@an_ancient: No. It has been too long and it has all blown over. It's better to accept that some might still hate you for it (which is arguably as childish as the act in the first place). Digging up old feelings gets nobody anywhere. The time has passed for legitimate apologies, it's rear view mirror hi-jinks at this point.
Apologizing for old shit like this is like talking to an ex from over 5 years ago and saying how sorry you are that things didn't work out. It's almost gross. You don't go there!
Plus, it's not a big deal. Not anymore. If you can't laugh about it than there might be something wrong with you.
Just like someone above said. They're exaggerating the situation and playing their roles in the whole debacle. It's a funny mutual hatred at this point.
