FFS I got invited to play TWICE but as my gamertag is right in the middle of the alphabet and ryan scrolls from top to bottom or bottom to top by the time I accepted the invites the games were already full.
So I loaded up ME2 in preparation of the new DLC being released today but as it wasn't out yet I decided to play a bit of my last save game. For some bizarre reason, however, I got this message
"Cannot load save game as missing the following DLC: Zaeed" (or something along those lines)
Now I got the Zaeed DLC through the Cerberus network the day ME2 came out and I can see it quite clearly on my hard drive so for some reason ME2 is no longer recognising it and I now cannot load my save games.
Has anyone else had a similar problem? Does anyone know what is causing it? Is it just the Cerberus network playing up as they sort out the new DLC?
I didn't expect it to be possible to actually fail at the romance stuff; I remember with Mass Effect it was virtually impossible not to end up with the blue alien chick
What gifts does Morrigan like?
Or is it not important because of her offer at the end of the game anyway?
So I spent my entire first playthrough of this game being real nice to leiliana, y'know buying her nice shoes and pretending I cared when she talked about her mother and the Maker and I got to the point where I literally couldn't get her approval rating any higher but then the bitch turns to me just before we're all about to probably die and says "You are a true friend" and I'm like "Maker NO! I'm in THE FRIEND ZONE!"
God damn that's like a 45 hour playthrough and if I ever want to get the 10G achievement for getting in her pants then I am going to have to play it all again with her hanging around talking about shoes and how the Maker has a plan for all of us but screw that because it's boring; I'd much rather pretend I'm interested in hearing about Flemeth and how the Circle of Magi suck balls 'cos at least I KNOW Morrigan will put out by the end of the game.
Also being an arsehole to everyone is way more fun then trying to solve everyone's problems; Morrigan is soooo right
" My party consisted of Alistair, Morrigan and Wynne for the majority of the game. "
I'm still trying to hash it out, but I'm thinking it's gonna wind up being this since I'm a rogue (I desperately want to be a Duelist, since I find backstabbing not that useful since it only works against one enemy and I'm generally facing...a lot more than one, but I can't find the Duelist handbook), and I just find it too easy to get overwhelmed without Wynne keeping the main char's and Alistair's health up, plus Morrigan to do area of effect. "
I'm pretty sure you can be taught to be a duelist at the brothel in Denerim. The pearl or whatever it is called. There is a rogue there who can teach you.
Thread: I had myself (sword and shield warrior with templar and champion specialization), Shale as a second tank, Wynne for the healing (also had her as Arcane Warrior specialization but didn't use it much.) and Leiliana (Bard and Ranger)
I had a great deal of trouble with the arch-demon though; when he got to 50% health and then summons all those mobs I just got massacred. I think I was probably underleveled (level 20)
Also I hear that the leaders of the various factions were supposed to come help at that point but I never saw them... I don't think the limitations of the 360 interface helped very much!
Had to turn it down to easy at the end. I am pretty ashamed after playing the rest of the game quite happily on normal :(
