GOTY 2018

Honorable mentions: Shadow of the Colossus and Dark Souls Remasters - various versions of these classic games have been featured on older lists of mine. Enough is enough, as much as I still adore them.
I didn't manage to squeeze enough of Celeste, Gris, Into the Breach and Call of Cthulhu in to really rank them already, but I am certainly planning to finish these in 2019.
Lastly, I'd like to mention that the final Walking Dead season showed great potential with its stellar first episode, but was cancelled soon after. While the second episode did end up seeing the light of day, it also brought all the technical issues of previous seasons right back with it. In a way, I'd feel more confident including the game here had there been only the season opener.
