Having some issues with the 'jump back 10 seconds' feature. When pushed the app will freeze. Initially it was only about 5 to 10 seconds, but has progressed to the point that pressing it will cause it to freeze indefinitely and can only be fixed by fully resetting the xbox.
The fact that it has worsened over time suggests it might be a memory/cache issue? Any help would be appreciated.
I'm finding the site redesign to be a little bit jarring, I'm having trouble locating the content I want to watch. This may sound silly but is there a tutorial video outlining how to use the new site?
Also, When viewing on Android I find it is almost impossible to skip to a certain section of the video as the progress bar is tiny.
You've got your work cut out out with this one... My memory is awful.
This would have been around 1994 in the UK. I'm thinking of a game we used to play on our classroom computer. I'm fairly certain it was an Archimedes of some kind, or possibly a bbc micro.
The game itself is the trickier part. I remember it being a very simple adventure game, the only segment of the game that sticks out in mind is where you have to place a banana peel for an enemy to slip on, which I'm fairly certain was a witch. It's possible that there may have been educational elements to this game, but it appears they have eluded me entirely.
Halo: Reach. Due to life circumstances I never gave it the attention it deserved upon release and unfortunately missed all of the hype in the first few years of play. That said, it's still incredibly fun! Tons of stuff to work through in the armory. Finally got my spartan as I like him, and only 8 years after release!
I got my Switch in October, for Mario Odyssey. If you have enough disposable income I would recommend it just for that, it's utterly fantastic. I wasn't too keen on Breath of the Wild, it felt too empty and what little was there felt very repetitive. Certainly not a bad first go at the genre, but to harken back to an early comparison from the media, it feels like a mix between Zelda and Elder Scrolls, but without the stuff that makes either series special.
I'm currently very close to selling my Switch, as I have barely touched it this year, there isn't anything that I want to play and the E3 show pretty much killed any confidence I had of a second wind for the console. The only thing stopping me is the vague possibility that they are going to release old games on the system - Gamecube/GBA/SNES etc. Unfortunately this feels further and further away, you can't count on Nintendo to do the things that would make sense for them and their fans.
I will likely sell the system and buy whatever 'Switch version 2' they release in a couple of years when the library has grown to more than a handful of interesting games.
It looks like it'll cover both bright and eye-catching as well as darker scenes. Obviously the most visually striking elements of the trailer are the colourful daytime scenes, but between these there are many glimpses of a darker world. For instance, a guy having his eye ripped out in a dark alley, or locations like this:
