Oddballs

@rethla: I am experiencing the issues on both lowest settings and ultra, I have tried a myriad of different configurations and still no luck. The official line about PC issues is 'tweak the settings'. It's getting a little old now.

I just tried the benchmark and it looks beautiful, nothing at all like what I'm seeing in-game.

I have a 970 - The game ran beautifully on high settings, 1080p60 etc.

As soon as I hit Golem City, this:

At about 15fps, even on lowest settings. Oh, and when I look up:

It feels like they only optimized the first section of the game. The cynical conspiracy theorist in me has jumped to the conclusion that this is so that people don't refund in the first 2 hours.

It's a shame to see this happen, but how was this not obvious to everyone the moment they hired him?

It seems readily apparent to me that Austin is vastly overqualified for the position he held at giantbomb. To me, it seemed just a matter of time until he moved on to bigger projects.

That said, of course I will miss him. A great addition to any organisation.

Hope they do it in studio too! And soon!

I have put at least two thousand hours into this game. When I load it up it makes me sad because there's no more game to play.
