Could it be possible to have Alex or Vinny play so we don't have to listen to Dan going "uuuuuugh" any time the game gets challenging because he doesn't understand the combat system/is too impatient to engage with it?
Alternatively, take 5 minutes next time before recording to check out the text tutorials in the menu. They explain most everything.
I keep feeling the pain of hearing them think Kiryu is a dope. It's like excitedly introducing someone to Metal Gear Solid and then they keep going on about how Raiden is their favorite character and Snake is a grumpy dope cause he doesn't know cool ninja moves.
Liking Kiryu is fine and all, but comparing this game's Majima to Raiden? That's too far!
I agree with them though. Kiryu is kinda boring, at least in the main story. He's funny as a straight man in the weird side quests tho.
They seem to have nailed the mechanics of crash mode and literally nothing else. This looks so sad, like why would you make it like this? All you had to do was model a few intersections and instead here's this... bland warehouse.
Instead of making 3 half-assed games these guys should try making one good one. Or scope accordingly. This is like 90% of the way there but it's just lacking the finishing touches. Bummer.
Actually this seems like a proof of concept, not a whole game.
Could you guys... stop doing the real estate management? It's super duper boring. I didn't even do it during my playthrough because of how boring it is, I sure don't wanna watch it. The narrative payoff is extremely minimal and it doesn't really start making money until you're all the way done with it because all the money you make goes back into buying properties. It just keeps going like that for hours and hours.
I have 1500 hours on the PC version. Not only have they basically ignored the PC version for the past year or so, but it looks like the console version has all the problems the PC version has ALWAYS had.
This is disappointing to say the least.
Watching Jeff sort through his inventory for 5 minutes after a single boss wave in MM is exactly the authentic Marvel Heroes experience I remember, lol. Yeah, they've fixed almost none of the glaring design issues this game has had for a long time.
Something about Jeff always sticking with Cap in this game amuses me.
Anyway they ruined/neglected the PC version of this game for this. I hope it's good for console peeps but after like 1600 hours in the PC version I'm pretty done!
