All the Extra Life videos from 2014 seem to have a date of December 4, 2013. This means they got put into the 2013 'season' of Extra Life and show up on the This Day in Giant Bomb History pretty awkwardly.

Heartbeat is consistently listed on stores in all caps (Steam, itch). Assuming it doesn't go against the wiki style guide completely, could it be changed to that all caps version?

I guess since the new site is live I should post this here.

Browser: Google Chrome (70.0.3538.77 64-bit)

OS: Windows 10

Resolution: 2736x1824 (Surface Pro 4)

Extensions: Many, but this issue occurs in incognito mode.

Console output
Console output

The buttons to scroll the carousels don't appear, and touch input is not registered. Other browsers on this machine (Firefox, Edge) show the buttons. This also occurs on show pages.

The Upcoming section seems broken as hell.

No localised times

No upcoming thumbnails

The PST times are wrong (two hours ahead?)

No way of knowing if something is a Quick Look (Black Bird) or a Best Of (156 - Mom's Dead Parkour) or something else

Looks super dull

Adding onto this: the terminology of "Episode" feels a bit off to me? It used to be "Video" but very recently got changed to episode. Video was a perfectly fine descriptor, it stated the nature of the content. I understand the need to be consistent with terminology around the new show format but I don't really consider Quick Looks episodes of a show, so it looks odd to have it described that way. Ranking of Fighters or Mass Alex are episodes, sure, but could just as easily be called videos and they'd be as descriptive. It's a minor thing, but this is what this thread's for.

The beta getting pushed to the live site feels... rushed, to say the least. I kind of assumed the beta was going to be a larger thing than it apparently was. I feel like there's still a ton of stuff that was completely unaddressed and didn't even have a chance to be addressed because the beta was so short. The way it was pitched in the video a couple of weeks ago gave a vibe of "yeah anything's possible" when it came to feedback and tweaks but was that just not the case? It's pretty disheartening to see.

Edit: to drive home my point, maybe unfairly, the literal first reply to this thread hasn't been addressed.

It's an extremely minor thing, but any plans for upcoming_json to become a more formal endpoint with the redesign? Would be nice to have it become a fully documented part of the API instead of a weird open secret. Plus it'd be nice to have access to more than five items at any one time.

When browsing episodes of a podcast or video via the carousel and grid view, there's seemingly no deck surfaced anywhere. I could see that being a big issue when trying to find older episodes of podcasts especially since I wouldn't be able to find a specific episode solely from its thumbnail. It's definitely still an issue for videos though, as decks can be more memorable than thumbnails for stuff like UPF.

You can click on an episode and it won't reload the page anymore but it will scroll the page up to the player to display the full information which is a tad more tedious than how it used to be for browsing.

If possible please add a show page for all the Hitman 2016 videos! The main ones with Brad/Dan are surely connected enough to qualify, and there's various quick looks with Elusive Targets and the like as well. A few smaller segments are tucked into UPFs so might have to exclude those but like just one, well formatted page with the saga of the Double Agents would be HUGELY appreciated.

https://www.giantbomb.com/hitman/3030-45150/videos/ seems like it serves your purpose well enough. Can't really view it like you would a formal show but given how it's all spread across many different kinds of videos I think that's probably the simplest option. I'm obviously not staff but having videos in multiple shows feels weird to me (not sure if it's even possible).

Maybe an option would be to have user-created shows or playlists? Similar to the current list system but integrated with the new video playback features. This would also allow people to collect stuff that doesn't really fit into the show format. I'm thinking about the older random 'around the office' videos that used to happen.
