What a bunch of moaning fuckheads. You haven't even heard any details or viewed any potential gameplay. Thousands of people bitched about the lack of coop/multiplayer when Skyrim was released - so perhaps they are attempting to appease their fans etc.

Personally, if this is like Skyrim, but with coop/multiplayer then I for one would be excited for this. People hear MMO and they think WoW gameplay. If they do go that route then Ill poopoo this announcement with the rest of you. But until that time why don't we reserve judgement huh.

I totally agree. This is a major concern for me and a bunch of my mates. We love the whole team play element - but squads + squad control seem like such a fundamental principle - I just can't understand why they havent properly implemented this. Not to mention its a damned nightmare to do the web-based Join as a squad thing. It just seems like I have to click about 10 buttons before I can even jump into a game. Its very convoluted and unnecessary. I'm totally in love with the game at this stage in the beta - but this is going to strongly influence my decision to purchase it. I don't want to jump in and play lone wolf with a bunch of non communicating fucktards - I want to play with friends and enjoy the experience together. I'm hoping they are going to bring in this element at launch - yet i cant see why they wouldnt already have this ready and working in the beta?!

Either way - serious oversight by DICE. Very disappointed. I checked out the PS3 squad management and its WAY better. You invite friends on the front screen, they accept the squad invite - and then you all join in together? So how come this isnt on the PC!!!
