Another week, another first-person shooter, but Crysis 2 is different. First of all, it's the sequel to the 2007 blockbuster Crysis. Crysis was a revolutionary FPS with it's extremely sexy graphics and great gameplay and story. Crysis 2 continues the story of the alien invasion from Crysis. It's set in the concrete jungle of New York, and takes place in its ruins. You play as a dude named Alcatraz who wears the NEW NANOSUIT and kicks alien balls. Crysis 2 is WAY prettier than it's predecessor. My computer is going to shit itself. Oh well, I needed an upgrade anyway. The new Nanosui 2.0 has features like Armor mode, Stealth mode, Speed mode. You can jump high in the air and even do an air stomp. The setting looks really cool. Fighting aliens in the middle of a ruined supermarket is pretty badass if you come to think of it. It kind of reminds me of the movie 2012. This game looks fucking awesome so far. Can't wait for the 22nd!

A Sims spin-off game set in the Medieval Times? Count me in! This looks pretty interesting. You control a kingdom and 'Hero' SIms who do cool stuff for your kingdom. For the first time ever, there aren't going to be any smoke and grunts. There are going to be real sword fights and..........dragons. Yes, you heard me right. There are going to be dragons! The sad part is that you don't get to take your Sims to the bathroom anymore. The only things you need to take care of are energy and hunger . But hey, you can do quests and make knights, blacksmiths, wizards, bards etc. Your Sims may also be in great danger because of wildfires, diseases, duels etc. The grap hics are better than any other Sims game I've seen. I've definitely got my hopes up for this one. :)

The next game in the blockbuster Total War series is the sequel to Shogun: Total War. I have to say that I totally love the Total War series. My personal favorite is Rome: TW. Finally Creative Assembly makes another TW game. From the videos I've seen, it's gonna be bigger, better, and prettier. I love the realistic nature of the TW series. My only disappointment is that they don't have gore :(. Anyway,  I can't wait to visit Japan and kick some shogun ass! Ninjas and geishas have also been confirmed as spies and assassin's. Families are going to have an important role in this game too.  The game engine can also support up to 56,000 units onscreen. My computer's gonna shit itself! But still, I can't wait!

I can't believe the sequel to Dragon Age: Origins is coming so fast! I thought DAO was great. The only problem was the combat. I guess I am more of the hack and slash kind of gamer, but gameplay videos have shown me a better combat type. The combat in Dragon Age II is faster and more brutal. It's gorier than it's predecessor (I likes!). The new dialog  wheel is another great addition. I like to make decisions on the game based on my own judgement, so this will help me more. The new art style is kinda weird because it's more stylized and is not as gritty and dark as its predecessor. With all the new improvements, I'm really looking forward to Dragon Age II. The next game I have my sights on is Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II – Retribution. I'm a huge fan of strategy games that don't make you build buildings and gather resources. I don't really know how the Dawn of War franchise is since I haven't played any of them. But from what I've seen so far, this game's gonna be pretty awesome. This game's offering six campaigns with six different races. Also, the RPG elements are also a really good thing. I love the system in Starcraft II where you got a reward after you finished every mission. This system seems to be included in this game, so that's a big plus point for me. What are your thoughts on this game? The gameplay footages show a lot of promise. I hope this game lives up to it's potential.

Visceral Games released Dead Space 2 last month. Though the game was very intense and scary, some of the moments were dull and boring. This is a list of the new features I would want in Dead Space 3.
 
1. A better save option- I totally hated when I had to go looking for a save station whenever I had to quit the game. Why couldn't I save wherever I want and get on with my life? This part of the game really annoyed me.
 
2. Better puzzles- The puzzles in the game were pretty boring. I want some puzzles where there is some action instead of 'remove this and put that in' kind of BS.
 
3. More variety in missions- All we have to do in Dead Space 2 is walk from point A to point B and kill some baddies along the way. Why can't we have better missions like running away from a huge monster while driving a shuttle or saving some survivors via sniper on a rooftop?
 
4. Character development - Isaac needs a brain! I'm sick of him having to listen to people. Why can't he just do as he wishes and get the hell out of there? Isaac seems like a pushover.
 
5. Better plot- The story of Dead Space was awesome and creepy, while the plot of Dead Space 2 felt like an action movie cliche. I wish Dead Space 3 has the similarly creepy story as the first one. 
 
6. More weapons- They did have some pretty good weapons in DS 2. I want to see some more like a shotgun, laser ray, and even a rocket launcher.
