I'm not sure how it works exactly but a guess would be that it renders each scene from slightly different angles and then will show scene A, refresh to scene B, refresh to scene A, refresh to scene B etc... showing each scene 30 times during the 60hz I imagine the screens refresh rate to be. Thus making it work like our eyes do normally without crossing them. We can see depth because we have two eyes viewing from lightly different angles, close one eye and you lose depth.

Really I don't know how it works this is just a guess.

I enjoy that film quite a bit. Also one of my favorite Blu-ray transfers.

I too am using a GTX 275 for the moment, soon planning to upgrade to a GTX 480 myself, for you either the 470 or the 5850 would be a decent enough increase. If you are looking for a little more oomph you could go for the 5870 (I believe it presents a better value than the 480 I'm just silly and want my damn 480).  Here in Canada you can get a 5870 for less than $100 more than a 5850, if it is comparable in New Zealand I would go for the 5870.

If you do get an Nvidia card I recommend EVGA. It's mainly a personal preference but I've never had a bad experience with them.

I had fun in high school, the work wasn't hard and I never had any problems with anybody. Met alot of great people there (4 of us eventually moved to a different city together and got a house to live in).

Most of my time in high school was spent screwing around, but I always managed to do decent enough in my classes at the last minute to pass. Played alot of Quake 3 during the computers class, fell asleep alot in english class and spent lunch breaks playing guitar with a few other guys in a hallway on the second floor. Good memories. In a few ways I kinda miss high school, I dunno if I would choose to go back but I did have fun for the most part.

Not my type of music at all but my room-mate seems to like it.

I don't think a phone would quite cut it for me, they never seem to have much space for music and SD cards arent gigantic yet either.

I Only listen to music in lossless because I'm very picky even if it is a bit silly. I have a metric ton of CD's and all of them in lossless takes up an amazing amount of space. I'm using a 160 GB iPod and it is nowhere near big enough.

However, if I didn't give a damn whether music was lossless or not (like most folks) I'm sure an iPhone whould be plenty big enough (though I'm not sure how big they get). Most everyone I know use an iPhone for music so I can completely understand the lack of new mp3 players.

@blacklabeldomm:  I Have MW2 for PS3 and yeah it looks like the brightness is cranked. Very faded. RGB limited or full did nothing to fix this.

The part where you're in the downed chopper looked especially bad.

I bought the first game when it was released for PC then stopped playing a couple hours in, turns out I'm a huge wuss when it comes to scary games.

I really do like the game so I installed it again recently. Turns out I'm still a huge wuss... I will keep trying though because this new trailer looked pretty awesome.

I've been playing 3D games on PC for awhile now. Your frame rate usually gets cut in half while playing 3D on PC (makes sense don't it?), makes me wonder what kind of hits these games will take in the performance department. Loss in resolution and frame rate I'm sure.

I stopped using the 3D for my PC games because it gives me a massive headache pretty fast. It did look pretty slick in some games though...

The NHL all the way for me, I watch as many games as I possibly can (doesn't matter which teams play). Hockey is easily my favorite thing in the world.

Go Flames.
