The Pitt was pretty cool, but my personal favorite was Point Lookout because of Desmond. And for some reason I guess I just found it to be one of the most interesting places in the game.
Probably my favorite quest in the game. I didn't feel like I was playing Oblivion, though, but it did freak me out when I tried talking to the tree (from the back) and Harold said to come around. I did and I saw that the tree had a face and I was like "WHOA!!"
But that was an awesome quest. Harold was awesome but I hadn't played the first two Fallout games so I didn't know his whole backstory.

@Shiftshaper: Maybe he really didn't know that Mayumi would end up dead in such a way and he was truly surprised. I mean, all he knew was that people could be thrown inside and he probably knew she would die in there because there probably wasn't a way out, but he had no way of knowing that the bodies would be strung up on telephone poles or antennas.
Everyone's talking about how creepy Andale or the Vaults were, but I can't believe no one's brought up the Dunwich Building! The game practically turns into a survival-horror game when you go there.
