@demontium: I reckon a Mamba would be a great mouse, with the dpi rating anything which is 1800 or above is more than enough for me. Anything above seems overkill, but then again my mouse is over 2 years old and still going strong. So if you want reliability, the Death adder models (now 3500dpi) come with a recommendation from me. I personally will use a wired mouse until one is released which needs no battery.

Look into Razer, fantastic make of PC gaming peripherals. I have been using a deathadder since 2007. Logitech also make some fantastic gaming mice
