I'm always in favour of putting it under sound, as it's essentially an audio option for the hearing impaired whether subtitles or full closed captioning. If it had to be under anything else I'd be okay with language.
The argument for graphics always seems rather literal just because it's a visual element doesn't change the fact it is an extension/representation of the audio, what is being heard by the character or the player respectively.
@ezekiel I realise you put some time into that menu mock up but you appear to have not included a subtitle option in there.
At the risk of going off topic, the tiered menus are probably due to the ease of recognising and process the information on screen, rather like hitting the index of a book before heading towards the interested subject instead of opening the entire dictionary into your eyes for one word (I may have even missed the subtitle option for that reason).
Good luck Austin, will miss your enthusiasm and all the more "niche" games you shone a light on. You have to blame for my increasing interest in gundam and gunpla (the sprues, oh the sprues)
Am I meant to be approaching this seriously, or is evil allowed?
Since I haven't played most of the newer stuff I've split between missed QL and nefarious purposes.
Missed QL:
Freedom Wars (Jason mentioned looking at it but alas nothing)
Pier Solar and the Great Architects (A Mega Drive styled RPG that I've seen nothing on, considering the guy's Genesis knowledge I'd quite like their opinion)
Dungeon of the Endless (All I've heard is the crazy hybrid of genres and styles, it seems peculiar to say the least)
Insidious dickishness:
Mario Party: Island Tour (self explanatory, although it's with either this or a Senran Kagura game)
Hey, Brandon, just wanted to chime in and say really like the new signage on items, first thing that caught my eye was the yellow subscriber podcast mark on Alt-F1.
I took me a confused moment to find the change colour scheme button though. Aside from that I'm liking it, thanks.
This feels like lame advice but do you have a particular preference to anything? Because that's what I'd take.
I've taken packs of cider to (generally half) bottles of spirits and drunk at my own pace as I needed be, context sensitive like *hic*, while sharing with folks. The only thing I like to drink but haven't taken to a party is a fortified wine, probably a Port, because I'd have to decant that shit and let it breathe and who has time for that.
