  Any wireless 360 controller should work with the receiver. There is no difference between the ones branded as being for Windows and the regular 360 ones other than packaging (and whether it comes it a receiver if its a wireless one).

  I've noticed that there's a bunch of new achievement stats available on Giant Bomb user profiles. For example, here's mine: http://www.giantbomb.com/profile/peewi/games/    Unfortunately it appears that most of these stats are only gathered for Live and not for Steam.

  I'm not entirely sure where to put this, but this seems like it might fit.  In a recent update,   Tean Fortress 2 achievement The Big Hurt (http://www.giantbomb.com/achievements/the-big-hurt/24515/  ) was changed. As can be seen on http://steamcommunity.com/stats/TF2/achievements/,  it is now "Stun 2 Medics that are ready to deploy an ÜberCharge."

  I wouldn't say that there's any maps that are particularly more beginner friendly than the others. Just try to stay away from custom maps. I'd stay away from CTF maps on pub servers too. Very often they stalemate due to a large number of engineers on both teams.
