If you're having problems with the controls, just switch to "2D style" in the options menu. It plays much better that way. This goes for SH2, btw. I don't remember if you can do this in 3.
No love for The Room in this collection? Seriously, it's not a bad game at all.
That said I wish this would also get the digital treatment via Steam or something. Through the years I ended up misplacing all of my original SH games (except the room lol), so having digital copies of them would be sweet.
I was real interested until I played the demo. I just didn't enjoy actually playing it that much. I'll still keep an eye on it though, the visuals are real striking.
You should really make an effort to play this on a HDTV. It looks gorgeous. I do feel you though, I played Mass Effect 2 on a SDTV and all the text was unreadable. Even more so than Bastion's (I tried out the trial on a SDTV).
Edit: Also wanted to add how I love that Bastion is pretty much the opposite of a next-gen brown shooter. The color palette of this game is fuckin rich.
