A few formative games on the Apple II:

1) The Bard's Tale

2) Wizardy

3) Zork II

3) Trinity

This was back when games -- like stories, like tabletop RPGs -- really required you invoke your imagination to enrich and complete the experience.

Visual and audio experiences can bring sensory immersion, but not the kind of complete engagement that I remember feeling with these basic, text-based games of my youth.

EDIT: (By the way, I appreciate this thread for taking my mind off the absolutely shitty state of my country, if even for a few moments. Hashtag go vote, and all that.)

This sounds like a job for the new "shows" feature on beta.giantbomb.com!

Need "games" in the top nav.

Shows list description should have start and end years. The list should be sortable in different ways, e.g. alphabetically, by earliest episode date, by latest episode date, by site (west, east), etc.

Shows list is wildly incomplete.

A "Watch Later" feature. This is my #1 feature on YouTube, and a main reason why I'd still use YouTube to watch non-subscriber content instead of dealing with the clunky video player + choppy video streaming of Giant Bomb.

That is... I'm *thinking* about buying a PSVR for Tetris Effect. Deeply, deeply tempted.

But I'm wondering if there's anything else worthwhile to play on it, either out now or coming soon, to convince me to pull the trigger.

What say you?

It didn't look that bad on the 360 did it?

It ran in 720p on the 360, which at the time I remember considering borderline.
