I'm also getting voice mail dump truck, not sure why. Tried to see if I could figure out from the console, but then I found the konami code pac-man in the network responses and got distracted, but the pac man works great.
On google chrome originally, loading it up in microsoft edge also gets voice mail dump truck 57 too. @rorie

For me it flashes the Grubsy 3D video before changing to VMDT (on multiple browsers, including private browsing). Clicking the player within the fraction of a second before it changes to VMDT starts the Grubsy 3D video.
This works for me too. It switches very quickly at the start. Clicking it before it loads plays it in the jwplayer, while letting it load plays VMDT on youtube.
Granted I haven't played fully through any pokemon since.... pokemon red. Arceus got me back into pokemon, and I also picked this one up too. It's been fantastic so far! But maybe I'm lucky that I haven't run into any issues at all. It still has some annoying things, mainly how pokemon are caught through battle. I'd prefer the speedier catching mechanic of Arceus, and the larger amount of optional trainer battles, the open world, and the auto battles of wild pokemon from this game. Hopefully they'll do something like that one day.
I feel like if the levels were not linear it would work a lot better, having to collect stars/trophies in linear levels to unlock the next set of levels doesn't work super well.
I enjoyed this game quite a bit. This is also completely the opposite from how I played this game. I was always fighting the boss by at the latest loop 8. Your way definitely is a much more chill morning way to play though, which was nice!
