Can't remember super well, but I was pissed at my brother when he forgot to grab Pokemon Sapphire out from the rental car before we returned it.

The rental car in California..... 
He screwed me over on that.

Twilight is awesome, I would highly recommend it, although I played it on the gamecube. 
Wind Waker is a bit grindier because of all the sailing but cool art design.

If you want the true Zelda experience, I would say go back to Link to the Past and Orcarina of Time.
