Abby kicked ass on that terror mission! That bought them a bunch of time until the next big thing happens. Brad got super screwed by the line-of-sight in the laundromat because I guess nobody can look over a bunch of washers and dryers.
Alex's cautious, methodical approach gives the Exquisite Corps and the XCOM project two victories! Still waiting for that terror mission. Dan might have to play it and that's when things might really go off the rails.
With most of the original squad down and a terror attack and base defense on the way, their only hope lies in one of the most baller hitmen of all time.
Additionally, with the finishing of beam weapons they can build beam rifles which trash sectoids and thin men on hit... if they can find the money to build them.The chryssalids they have to face will be another story.
Alex is the last, best hope for humanity between his cautious nature and previous experience. Being impatient is a cardinal sin in this game. Also it's the greatest thing that Dave Lang became a sniper considering his love of Hitman. Can't wait to see what Dan does.
The jank in this game can sometimes be pretty great. Ruins the atmosphere though. It sounds like something like this happened with the last game they played, only Jason went flying into the sky instead of the car.
