Stick with it! Ending B is pretty similar to Ending B with Replicant in terms of recontextualization, and Ending C is literally completely different (as opposed to the Ending C and D of replicant)
I actually played through it if you check my latest blog post. I did end up enjoying it a lot more during route C specifically.
@zombiepie: Chris Watters (from Gamespot) released a book that contains 50 games to play before you die, this is just a personal list to keep track of the ones I haven't played yet :)
@eder: Playing as a ranged character in the Souls games seems to be a way to decrease the difficulty, if you've watched Extra Credits they've talked about creating your own difficulty in the game by utilizing different gameplay mechanics.
@eder: Yeah, that difficulty spike isn't kind. I saw that they're working on a sequel, here's to hoping that's gonna be better about the difficulty curve!
