Rahkas: Best of 2010

List items

  • Brought back all my love of WoW, Blizzard did an amazing job upgrading the world and their design philosophy.

  • Crack in a digital format, not much else needs to be said about the game. Great improvements on Civ 4, and only slightly less addicting than WoW.

  • Is the combat janky as hell, and can boss battles be somewhat frustrating? Sure. However, it reminds me of ME2 quite a bit, yet it still provides more customization than ME2 disappointingly lacked.

  • While this is overall a better game than Alpha Protocol, and is a great game, I feel it does not match the feel that its predecessor or Alpha Protocol elicited in me. Plus...going back on the explanation for lack of ammo definitely loses points in my book.

  • Brings back most of my love for Ocarina of Time, yet brings in a better combat system and a darker world. Altogether, everything combines to make a very enjoyable game.

  • Fast, loud and challenging, one of the best and most stylized actions games to come out in the past few years.

  • Although I find most of Rockstars games to be pretty great, I have always had problems with the lead characters. Marston is definitely a well needed change, and is much easier to sympathize with. Beyond this, simply a great game which makes most of it's western setting.

  • Great end to Bungie's work with the Halo series, a plethora of multiplayer options and a decent campaign easily made it this year's best FPS.

  • Usually not a fan of platforming games, yet the charm and fun of SMB made me stick through all of Meat Boy's varied deaths. The low price is simply the icing on the cake for this game.

  • Forget the campaign, simply screwing around made this game a definite blast.
