If it was a choice then it was an odd one. Here you have a game that would benefit from online play (unlike Galaxy) and they didn't bother to include it. No one is saying it could beat a local game, but I see no reason for online not to be there. You shot yourself in the foot explaining how it's not pushing the hardware, it wouldn't push a PS2 in any way either, so putting in online would have been easy which is why I don't get it. You defending it is almost as baffling. "
A blatant well known fanboy defending an obvious glaring flaw in a high profile game for his chosen system is the farthest thing from baffling that I can think of. It's actually quite typical.
I agree with them. The cheap enemy AI that allows them to be absolute crack shot marksmen and shoot at you from distances greater than you can retaliate, the way they float just out of range when you try to get close enough to melee them, (shooting you the whole time) the rooftop whoring that lets them rain death from all angles and absurd distances away, or how they seem to always know where you are and spot you no matter what your approach. It's just, ugh. Such a frustrating game for me to actually play. I just could not tolerate it. Not fun, not fun at all.
Eh, whatever. Game sucked anyways. Bring FFIX over!!! That's where it's at!
Randolph: You ever thought that maybe, just maybe, that someone may actually think the game sucked because it sucked and not to be "edgy and different"? Sounds to me like you are being hypocritical by mocking them and saying "conform to my non-conformity", which basically is a sarcastic way of condemning them for not following your standards, the same thing you're mocking.. "
Thinking it sucked is fine. Ramming it down the internets throat on a daily basis to score cool points on a forum for bashing a mainstream game is pushing it.
It's much more portable, and I'm a big supporter of digital download games. The internal memory that's also expandable is what pushed me over the edge. Gonna put all my PSone classics on it for playing on lunch at work.
Well, having a much better survival rate definitely does not hurt. Access to Blu Ray movies, PS3 exclusive games, (which seem to be of increasing quality) and a slew of PSN games that range from the more conventional to some really out of left field new stuff like The Last Guy and Flower. PSone classics is especially enticing, with the increasing quality and quantity of the selection.
"No one thinks democracy is perfect but it is the best system we have. Majority rule is never going to please everyone, but we as society need to work together as best as possible and majority rule is the best way to do that. As it is our Western societies have never been so free and tolerant."
Actually in the US, I have a republic, not a true democracy. That's mob rule. That's what gets you Hamas in power in Palestine.
In a democracy you have two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for dinner.
In a republic, you also have two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for dinner, but their are laws in place that say the sheep is not on the menu.
