It's an unavoidable thing with them. Jeff has played Fighterz. He can't avoid spoilers and what I'm saying is this doesn't negatively impact the series as if absorbing this information any other way than watching the entire original run makes it impossible to enjoy.
It doesn’t matter if Dan or Jeff know spoilers because of course the good guys win in the end. Of course cell doesn’t win. You can watch the entire series through clips on YouTube out of context and still know that vegeta is a dick but likable and that Goku is a simpleton with a good heart. It doesn’t matter because the show is solid enough to stand on its own and the characters personalities shine in even little scenes. What’s fun is seeing how it comes together first hand which doesn’t matter if you know little details like super saiyan 2 being a thing and stuff.
I think it's easy to wonder why there isn't more backstory on people like Tien and Piccolo and stuff but really in the grand scheme of things there isn't anything there that's necessary. There is no point in Z where it is important to know that Yamcha was a bandit in the desert or that Tien learned martial arts from Master Roshi's rival.
Articles like this really can't pop up enough outside of purely industry centered places. Plenty of companies make good games without relying on the 60+ hour crunch during the project but most people don't care as long as the good games get released. Everyone from gamers to heads of the industry should be aware that the people who make games aren't robots who's sole life is whatever project they are working on. Lack of good project management is a huge issue that more people should really think about. Even people who do nothing but play the final product.
Vinny needs to slap some more parachutes on that ship. A couple of drag chutes would solve that. Every time they come in so hot and this was bound to happen.
