It does start out pretty open and directionless, but direction will emerge. Don’t want to be too specific because that’s a pretty great part of the game. You want to be exploring, collecting and making things with your fabricator to start. The “Personal” menu is a good place to aim for, that will give you upgrades and devices to help you explore and interact with the world. Equipment>Standard O2 Tank will give you more oxygen to explore further. Don’t want to mislead though, it will always be about exploring and getting to places you thought you couldn’t before, not so much a narrative focus or direct goals.

Not a game but I bought the ps3 slim from Best Buy before the release date because it was shipped to them without the “don’t sell before this date” label and they played dumb about it and put it on a low key shelf near the back of the store.

I’m not having any troubles with it. Did have a problem with it turning itself off in rest mode but that was just a couple weeks back in January. The new update is nice, cold storing a copy of ps5 games on an external drive is more handy than I would have thought.

The first cast was awesome, looking forward to the next one. After last night I hope Bakalar visits Dan’s streams more often, maybe bring Dan in for some GB content too, it’s been quite a while.

Idk, the dude still seems to still have plenty of smiles and optimism.

If anyone is interested in seeing it Dan has a couple QL’s on his youtube page, the first two levels I think. He’s going to do some crossover streams with some MinnMax former Game Informer guys soon too. It’s some pretty good stuff worth checking out. It might be a couple days before he puts more up though because he only streams after his full time job.

Edit: Actually he streamed some more last night. Will probably go up on his YouTube in a day or so.

I thought it was kind of lame that I had most of the titles through ps+ already, but maybe now I’ll finally play Monster Hunter. If you know someone with a PS5 you could sign in on their device, claim them and download them to your PS4, you only need PS5 to claim.
