E3 2010 Most Anticipated Games

redjacked: E3 2010 Most Anticipated Games

List items

  • I've been a huge Bionic Commando fan since I slapped the original cartridge into my NES. I'll learn to jump for you Super Joe, American hero.

  • Q? Entertainment's Rez successor. Looks fantastic, and I'm hoping motion controls aren't a prerequisite. (Apparently they are not, according to Q's James Mielke!)

  • Itagaki wears his sunglasses at night.

  • A remarkably well animated 2D side-scrolling action RPG.

  • This game looks like the best kind of ridiculous. Good pedigree, too.

  • It seems to me that's it's been altogether too long since I've forcefully separated space mutants from their limbs.

  • A Hot Pursuit title developed by Criterion. Takedowns on police? In this post-9/11 environment?!

  • I can't feign mild interest in this game any longer, especially now that Firefight's been announced to have full matchmaking support.

  • I still get excited about the gameplay in ths series. I havn't even finished the second game's campaign yet, but I've put countless hours (they're probably countable somewhere, but I'm afraid to look) into Horde mode.

  • I've been a little reluctant to add this to my list as it's mostly a last E3 game, and a little more on the weird side of Japanese than the other titles in the series. I'm still holding out hope for it being a good game, though. Fingers crossed.

  • I am totally (mostly non-sexually) aroused by the work of Shinji Mikami. I'm looking forward to giving this one a shot.

  • Aliens? Underground? Will I have to swing my ostrich hammer responsibly with the potential for suicidal cave-ins?

  • I didn't add any of the 3DS games to this list as the details regarding those are really too sparse to build much excitement at this point, but the potential for the platform based on what's been shown has me grinning.

  • I'm ready for a Kirby game that is simultaneously traditional and completely different. I'm a little disappointed that Kirby's seemingly lost his appetite, though. I guess it makes sense, what with everything being made out of yarn.

  • I don't think I'm even going to wait for the enhanced edition this time.

  • 6 > 4

  • This is just the kick I needed to actually finish that last level.

  • I'm hoping Alpha Protocol was an unfinished mess because all the Obsidian guys jumped ship for New Vegas. I wonder if Elvis is still eating Fool's Gold sandwiches in the Fallout timeline.

  • Peter Molyneux could sell me my own kidneys. Plus you can fart on people as a point of interaction. Right in their faces. In their FACES.
