Listening to that first review... The guy basically sounds like he hates anime, anything sexy and couldn't get over that to be bothered to try understanding the game and generally nit picking at every little thing... Basically like most reviewers from Gamespot which is why I have a hard time taking them seriously.

Anyway. The game looks pretty interesting to me but I'm short on funds so I have to wait for a price drop. D:

Legitimate or not, people are going to support what they like. You might not agree with it but so long as someone wants to see it they're going to keep their channel going. If you don't want to see it, just go to another one.

I don't think it hurts other streamers. If they don't get someones attention or backing it just means they're not providing what the viewer wants to see... Which in your example appears to be boobs.

We'll see if you're so smug when the Dreamcast 2 is unveiled at TGS.

We can only dream! :p

After the Xbox One got its head out of its ass with the always online shenanigan, both consoles look solid. I'm just more interested in the PS4 Launch line up.

That being said. PC Master Race and all that jazz. It's my system of choice. :B

It sounds like a joke but at the same time it sounds good to me. I've never really been a fan of 3d. Bothers my eyes a lot.

@artisanbreads: I loved mount and blade, it was just missing siege engines and destructible castles in the sieges. But it's been forever since I played it so I have no idea if that's been patched in or the modding community figured it out.

Anyway! I'd love something like Stronghold for building and managing your castles but with something like... Mount and Blade if not Kingdom Under Fire 2 for fighting. Not sure if we'll ever see KUF2 in the states though. It was originally supposed to be released years ago but it's only just now supposedly hitting the Korean market. I can't really say for sure, their website isn't terribly informative.

I was browsing Kickstarter for any interesting game projects, looking for anything that looked worth while when I stumbled upon this:

[link removed]

It's a free to play MMORTS which instantly got my attention and backing because.. Well, when was the last time you saw an MMORTS? Shattered Galaxy is the only one that comes to mind and that was forever ago and has long since stopped getting updates.

Anyway, it's a Castle Building, fantasy setting MMORTS where you try to become the ruler of all the lands and dynamic, real economics. That sounds pretty good to me on its own.

But then I read that if they hit 500k funding they'll be able to introduce heroes into the game that players will be able to control themselves and take to battle and the like, which is about as rare of a thing in games as an MMORTS as far as I've seen.

Just spreading the word since it's going to take more than my funding to get the game out there, especially since most of my money was just dumped into Tuition, and I really want to play it. :3

RTS Guru did an interview with Frank Cefalu, the CEO about the game and it gives a pretty good idea of the direction they want to take the game and it only gets me more excited about the game.

Now if I could just win the flippin lottery I could throw more money at it and Heavy Gear Assault while I was at it.
