Cheers Bucket, I'll look into it and see what I can do. Anything for the GB community! hehe

"If you're gonna show a How to Build a Bomb episode, make it the one where Jeff locks himself out of the office. :DThis sounds like a pretty nice presentation, best of luck with it."
lol That one always makes me feel kinda sad, he seems so disappointed. I'm thinking the last one (episode 10) might be a good one to show a bit of, as it gives some insight into the wiki aspect of it. In al honesty I wish I could show them all of the episodes lol.

"I wonder if you're going to mention something about how this website got created and its relatedness to the whole Gerstmann-gate controversy and such."
Yeah I am, see I feel it's kinda integral to GB's raison d'etre (well among just being awesome). I'll make it brief, and establish that nothing is concrete or proven, but that there is strong Internet speculation on the idea that Jeff was let go primarily as a result of his Gamespot Kane and Lynch review. You see, for my lecturer and class to understand why this site was going to be in any way successful, they would have to know that he (and the rest, to some extent) became an Internet celebrity after the Gerstmann-gate controversy. So his user fan base would (like myself) move from Gamespot to Giantbomb. After I discuss this point, I will move onto the unique features of the site, such as its entirely editable wiki section, and its generally incredible user/staff interactivity. After that, I shall analyse the games reviews industry in terms of competition, and where Giantbomb fits into it all.

English football has a team called Sheffield Wednesday. Maybe they're sponsored by Wednesday?

lol I'd love to, so I could show you guys. But I don't think my lecturer would approve. But I will try and have the slides up at some point, even though it won't be the same.

Cheers Smug, yeah as soon as I read the brief for the presentation the words Giantbomb just popped into my head. It's going to be interesting as I have to try and make it appealing for a classful of people who have no interest in video games - that will be the challenge. And I think with any other site like Gamespot and such, that challenege would be pretty difficult. But GB on the other hand, I think a lot of people will enjoy the humour from this site.

Yeah, I was thinking of doing that. I should be finished in the next couple of days and the presentation is next Wednesday, so I will try to have it up before then.

Man, I love this site.

lol good suggestion. But, uh, I think that might make my words sound unclear, and it's you know, kinda random. I don't think my clasmates will get the whole luchadeer thing. But I'll take it into consideration! lol

you will do good man, videogames are obviously something you enjoy very much and are passionate about, so you will know exactly what to do. Its why i did so well on my project, i knew exactly everything i should do before i even started working on it.
good luck (but i dont think youll need it!)
"
Thanks man! Yeah, this is the most passionate I've been about any chosen subject I've ever done, and I think it will come through during my presentation. I have all these ideas flying in my head and points I'm going to make so it's coming together pretty seemlessly.
