I really wish in the "Filed under:" area on the podcast page that they would list links to any game they mention, I mean it might be some extra work but people like me who only listen to the podcast while on a long commute (driving) and can't access the internet and safely drive to look into something they mention and then spend forever trying to remember what the name of some random game mentioned that sounded interesting, frustrating.
Anyway... what was the name of the iOS game Jeff mentioned that was something like a crossword puzzle game?
The talk of the old video game magazines reminded me of one I used to read called either Joystick or Joystik, it was 70's/80's. Also Compute and RUN magazines.
I guess Nintendo is saying screw any backwards compatibility with WiiU software (and the now available Virtual Console Nintendo DS backwards compatibility) that requires dual screens?
@nggamer: Honestly, it seems fine. It takes a few minutes to separate the mental task of moving the left stick where you want to fly and tilting the Gamepad where you want to aim and doing it independently of each other (at first I would want to shoot "up" and I would move the left stick rather than tilt the controller so I would end up smashing into things) but once you "get it", you are fine.
