@retrometal: dual screen may be possible by flipping it on its side? or it would just be in the middle but probably still similar size as 3ds screens were originally. of course this is assuming the thing has touch control.

im in most likely. not saying there wont be any possible issues, but honestly it seems like the best path they could have taken at this point. i am a nintendo fanboy so honestly its kind of inevitable.

@rangers517: people had the home console version of this in the wii u and didnt bite. people also always complain about portable games being on the portable system. this seems like exactly the sort of compromise they should go for. and frankly having a big grey box like the other two isnt gonna differentiate them enough or get them the business/exposure they need. it might be unfortunate but nintendo kinda has to differentiate out of necessity. i think this is the best path they could have taken.

wonder if the dock adds any extra oomph to home play. probably not im guessing.
